I'd read mixed reviews of this hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. If you want the ritz pay for the ritz! Arrived before 11, but our room was ready very quick. The reception was helpful.
Rooms were a little small but this is because its an old hotel, but the decoration etc was good. Nice balcony onto the street.
The hotel is very well placed with 2 underground stations close by and arch de triomphe is easily walkable.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat and a good choice
Overall well worth the money. From what we can read from the reviews its people expecting large modern rooms in an old hotel and a quiet street, there is nowhere quiet in central Paris,(we never heard any noise from a bar downstairs)
