Small hotel, clean with friendly staff in an area where you can enjoy the real Paris without being too far from the main tourist 4/5

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Du Theatre. It's greatest perk for us was that it is located in a great neighborhood where we were able to interact with locals and not be overwhelmed by fellow tourists. At the same time it was close to many of the tourist attractions and only a few minutes walk to the Metro if we didn't want to walk.
Our room was small but clean. The bathroom was modern and had all the required amenities. There was no air-conditioning but the large French style windows opened up to provide a breeze and a nice view.
We would recommend this hotel to others.
