Location: The hotel is located very near the train station so it was easy to commute by train. There are restaurants and small shops around the area.

The hotel's entrance is located off a side street about three minutes walk from the Villiers metro station. There are no issues about safety though. Streets are bright, open and clean.

Location is Excellent mid way between Metro stations Rome and Villers on line 2 about 600 Meters apart. Taxi from Gare Du Nord is about 12 to 15 Euros depending on traffic.

The hotel is really nice, friendly staff (speak english), close to two metro stations (one block away) there is a Bar next to it (no noise at nights in the room). There is also many places to eat nearby. It might be samll for the american standars but it has EVERYTHING you need, bathroom very clean, TV very nice, bed very confortable (they only have single or double rooms). Breakfast was good also (continental), just check once you book if it is included. Will stay again ! they have WI FI !!! (for free)

I'd read mixed reviews of this hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. If you want the ritz pay for the ritz! Arrived before 11, but our room was ready very quick. The reception was helpful.
Rooms were a little small but this is because its an old hotel, but the decoration etc was good. Nice balcony onto the street. The hotel is very well placed with 2 underground stations close by and arch de triomphe is easily walkable. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat and a good choice overall well worth the money. From what we can read from the reviews its people expecting large modern rooms in an old hotel and a quiet street, there is nowhere quiet in central Paris,(we never heard any noise from a bar downstairs) Would go back

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Du Theatre. It's greatest perk for us was that it is located in a great neighborhood where we were able to interact with locals and not be overwhelmed by fellow tourists. At the same time it was close to many of the tourist attractions and only a few minutes walk to the Metro if we didn't want to walk.
Our room was small but clean. The bathroom was modern and had all the required amenities. There was no air-conditioning but the large French style windows opened up to provide a breeze and a nice view. We would recommend this hotel to others.

Good location, young neighbourhood, many bars and restaurants around, nice, clean and comfortable room, some of the stuff is very nice and helpful (some are not...), nice breakfast (but don't expect vegetables or variety of cheese), free internet, cousy.
We like a hard matress and this one was a little too soft for us, but we had known much worse in other hotels..
