Hotel du Thtre*** News, Exhibitions, and what to do in Paris

"Just returned from Paris having spent four nights at this hotel, which I found through trip advisor. It's a quirky little gem tucked down a side street between Rome and Villiers Metro station. The room was spacious enough (bearing in mind we were only there to sleep and clean ourselves up!) and was very clean, as was the bathroom.
Our room was at the front of the hotel but we had no trouble with noise from the street below.
The staff are kind and friendly, and the hotel itself is in a great location to access the main tourist attractions. We had the breakfast one morning only - there was a good selection for such a small dining area and the pastries, bread and juice were all fresh. There are plenty of foodie places in the surrounding streets which are also worth trying.
All in all, a gorgeous little hotel that was great value. We'd love to go back".

No need to run all over Paris to discover amazing places to visit in the city of lights. Right outside the hotel du Theatre, in our beautiful 17th area, check out our top 5 selection and more.

1-  1- First, begin by wander in the incredible Levis Street, with its lively farmers market, restaurants and stores. Enjoy your walk and take time to sip a coffee and to savor a delicious pastry from « L’Ecureuil » bakery.

2-  2- Continue towards the Church « Saint Charles », and you will arrive at « L’école supérieure de Musique », a very beautiful building, whit a neo-renaissance façade.

3-  3- Then, you can admire the « Musée Henner », a private mansion which accommodates the masterpieces of Jean-Jacques Henner.

4-   4- At the edge of the « Parc Monceau », make a stop at the « Musée Nissim de Camondo », set up in a wonderful aristocratic house, turned into a museum in 1936. Enjoy the vast collection of masterpieces of decorative art gathered by the Count of Camondo over the years.

5-   5- End your discovery of the district by a well deserved break in the wonderful « Parc Monceau ». Created in the 1778 for the duke of Orleans, in the « anglo-chinese » style, it was revised under Napoleon III.

Many others monuments, façades, private mansions, and curiosities will be revealed on your way.

"To be honest, I had so many preconceptions about this hotel, but it was really a surprise.
Even though my room was smaller than other similar rooms, the athmosphere, the staff and the cleanliness made me forgot all the "negatives".
The location is excellent: near to metro stations (Rome and Villiers), markets and boutiques.
The hotel has to be proud that they have Alexander, the nicest receptionist I have ever met. Thank you for him, to made my stay :)"

Rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast is very good value for money. The location is ideal in Paris center: close to a lot of restaurants. Paris is beautiful and the reception has always advised us to discover the most beautiful city places!"

The facade and lobby of the Hotel du Theatre, Paris, have been renovated a couple months ago and we are delighted to welcome you in our fresh nest.

Our stunning Haussmann building looks dashing and we were able to restore its glory and add the missing statues from the stone alcoves above the entrance.

Theater master Moliere is now overlooking our dear hosts and staff from its pedestal.

The lobby got redecorated to match the theatre theme and offers a cozy and warm welcome like our rooms.

We are looking forward to welcoming you soon

Sincerely, The Hotel du Theatre team

You have a sweet tooth and live to discover new flavors and places? Just a stone’s throw from the hotel, you can’t miss “La Petite Rose”, a pastry and chocolate heaven.

Sophisticated, fresh, and not too sweet, the pastries and ganaches are to die for.

After having worked in Japan, and being trained by Gérard Mulot in France, the pastry chef Miyuki Watanabe opened her own tearoom and store a few years ago; and has been treating us to her sophisticated and original creations.

Just a step from the “ParcMonceau”, this charming pink shop has a few tables to welcome the gourmet customers in an intimate setting and with exquisite Japanese finesse.

Our favorite? The strawberry “Mille-feuilles”, the green tea macaroon… and so much more!

Don’t hesitate to ask for information and directions at the hotel reception.
