At about 10 walking minutes from the hotel, the Nissim de Camondo Museum welcomes you with its magnificent treasures.

Built by the architect René Sergent, between 1911 and 1914, the private mansion was inspired by the Petit Trianon of Versailles. The museum showcases masterpieces of the 18th century of Moïse de Camondo. To honor his son, who died in combat, he decided to name it, theNissim de Camondo Museum.

Upon his death, the collector chose to bequeath his works of art and his estate at the « Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs ». The museum opened in December 1936.

He specifically wished that, no furniture, paintings, and works of art would be moved from their original place. The private mansion has stayed unchanged and true to its origins since 1935. Don’t be surprised to expect to see Sir de Camondo coming out in the room. The setting and atmosphere really throws you back a century.

We really recommend this visit and our team will be delighted to assist you in any way to make it happen.

We wish you a lovely visit!

"Just returned from Paris having spent four nights at this hotel, which I found through trip advisor. It's a quirky little gem tucked down a side street between Rome and Villiers Metro station. The room was spacious enough (bearing in mind we were only there to sleep and clean ourselves up!) and was very clean, as was the bathroom.
Our room was at the front of the hotel but we had no trouble with noise from the street below.
The staff are kind and friendly, and the hotel itself is in a great location to access the main tourist attractions. We had the breakfast one morning only - there was a good selection for such a small dining area and the pastries, bread and juice were all fresh. There are plenty of foodie places in the surrounding streets which are also worth trying.
All in all, a gorgeous little hotel that was great value. We'd love to go back".

No need to run all over Paris to discover amazing places to visit in the city of lights. Right outside the hotel du Theatre, in our beautiful 17th area, check out our top 5 selection and more.

1-  1- First, begin by wander in the incredible Levis Street, with its lively farmers market, restaurants and stores. Enjoy your walk and take time to sip a coffee and to savor a delicious pastry from « L’Ecureuil » bakery.

2-  2- Continue towards the Church « Saint Charles », and you will arrive at « L’école supérieure de Musique », a very beautiful building, whit a neo-renaissance façade.

3-  3- Then, you can admire the « Musée Henner », a private mansion which accommodates the masterpieces of Jean-Jacques Henner.

4-   4- At the edge of the « Parc Monceau », make a stop at the « Musée Nissim de Camondo », set up in a wonderful aristocratic house, turned into a museum in 1936. Enjoy the vast collection of masterpieces of decorative art gathered by the Count of Camondo over the years.

5-   5- End your discovery of the district by a well deserved break in the wonderful « Parc Monceau ». Created in the 1778 for the duke of Orleans, in the « anglo-chinese » style, it was revised under Napoleon III.

Many others monuments, façades, private mansions, and curiosities will be revealed on your way.

"To be honest, I had so many preconceptions about this hotel, but it was really a surprise.
Even though my room was smaller than other similar rooms, the athmosphere, the staff and the cleanliness made me forgot all the "negatives".
The location is excellent: near to metro stations (Rome and Villiers), markets and boutiques.
The hotel has to be proud that they have Alexander, the nicest receptionist I have ever met. Thank you for him, to made my stay :)"

"We visited Paris last month with my girlfirend. I highly recommend this very charming hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good English. It made us feel very welcome. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast is very good value for money. The location is ideal in Paris center: close to a lot of restaurants. Paris is beautiful and the reception has always advised us to discover the most beautiful city places!"
